Wildlife Commissions

Commission bookings are now open for 2026.

I accept a limited number of commissions each year, created in response to moments that clients have experienced observing wild animals, whether during safari travel, gorilla or orangutan trekking, or conservation-related journeys.

Who is this for

These works are created for people who wish to have a lasting reminder of an experience they witnessed in the wild, often a meeting characterised by stillness, eye contact, or quiet presence, something that has stayed with them and feels important to mark.

The Nature of the Work

Each artwork is developed using photographs and personal recollection from the experience as reference. Rather than creating a photographic replica, the work focuses on capturing the presence of the animal and the atmosphere of the moment. Some pieces develop directly from a photograph, while others may be shaped using several references or the recollection of the experience to create a unique composition that reflects the moment as it was experienced. Where helpful, I can also draw upon my own personal collection of wildlife reference material to support the development of the final composition.

Begin a Conversation

If you would like to explore whether a wildlife experience you had while travelling, trekking, or spending time in natural habitats could be developed into a unique piece of art, you’re welcome to share a little about the experience and the animal involved. From there we can discuss how it could be developed into an artwork. Further information on the process can be found on also be found on my page: How Commissions Work
