Animals have always been at the heart of my life.

I am especially drawn to their character, spirit and the quiet moments that reveal who they are.

For me, painting wildlife isn’t only about likeness, it is about atmosphere and connection.

I am a wildlife artist based in the North East of England.

I work mainly in pastels, charcoal and graphite but often explore acrylics, oils and watercolours.

Alongside painting, I am also a keen wildlife photographer, creating my own reference images to deepen that connection and bring authenticity to my art.

I am especially interested in conservation and endangered species, and I hope my work can play a small part in encouraging people to value and protect the animals we share the world with - from iconic species to the British wildlife close to home.
